Q1: What is the seating capacity of the theatre?

For most performances, the theatre will seat 669 people. This changes if there is a large orchestra or the stage is built out into the hall.

Q2: What are the dimensions of the stage?

The stage is 11m deep and 11 m wide and is straddled by sound projecting wings.

Q3: Do we offer any performing opportunities?

Cairns is home to several organisations that produce events which are staged at the theatre.

Q4: Do we have any costumes/props/sets for hire?

We don’t own or operate a staging company, so we don’t have costumes, props or sets of our own. We do rent sound and lighting equipment, however.
