Wild World - The Cat Stevens Story
He was the voice of a generation…. Hear the unforgettable songs. Share the emotion of his amazing story.
One in two households in Australia had a Cat Stevens album in the seventies. Maybe you were one of them, and if you are, here is an opportunity to live and enjoy Cat's amazing music. London born Paul Dillon has had a lifelong love affair with the music and poetic lyrics of the fabulous songwriter. He played in many of the same venues in London's West End in which Cat began his extraordinary success story.
Paul Dillon, accompanied by his band, The Tillermen, will present the Wild World - The Cat Stevens story and twenty-two of Cat's greatest songs including Moonshadow, Peace Train, Where Do the Children Play, So Very Young, Morning Has Broken, Matthew and Son and many more.
Paul's resemblance to Cat Stevens, both physically and vocally, is uncanny, and the stories he tells of Cat's progression from a teenager to his current lifestyle and change of name are worth hearing.
But, as one critic said, "… it is the music that enthrals you for almost two hours. It seemed like ten minutes to me!"
